Accessing ebooks that are "in use"
I'm trying to access an ebook but it says that it is "in use." Is there anyway to download this text?

If you are trying to access an ebook, and you are directed to a message that the ebook is "in use," this means that someone else is accessing the ebook.
The Learning Commons has different types of ebook usage licenses. Some ebooks have a single-use license (i.e. one user at time can access), while other ebooks have three-user or multi-user license.
If the ebook is in use, you will need to check again in a couple of hours and see if it's available.
We recommend that you download the chapter you need, and then exit out of the ebook so that other patrons can gain access as well.
